what is the internet/net/world wide web?

According to Wikipedia. The Internet is a global system of interconnected Computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to link several billion devices worldwide. but enough of the technical stuff. the internet is our second world, not the game, but our real second world. thanks to the technological advances back in the 80′, the usage of the internet boomed at the time. spawning new and different cultures.

Some just don’t really know what was the first real purpose of the web. They just use it cause it is fun and entertaining. well yes the internet is fun and entertaining. But that's not the point.

Any way, did you know that the internet was not made in america? some may not know about this. but the web is born in the land of Geneva, where is the CERN hadron super collider is right now.

Yes the web is a team effort by a research group from america , UK and France.

The origins of the Internet date back to research commissioned by the United States government in the 1960s to build robust, fault-tolerant communication via Computer networks.
with the help from the UK, and a group from France. the web is born in a room inside of CERN.

The whole purpose of the world wide web is to connect business people together. but all of that changed when in the 80’s the the internet was monopolized to be a super powered machine. from that point onward the web grew and grew now housing billions of people around the world. connecting not just people who needs work done but also friends and families.

The same reason why the internet is scary and not a force to be dealt with but we will cover that next time.
